You can be an absolute beginner, a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, a photographer, an artist, a writer or teacher—anything! WHY | This a great opportunity for artists and makers to WLK+TLK with a qualified Creativity Coach about their inner dialogue—the triumphs, the debilitating defeats and every hard-won battle and siege in between. Every conversation is treated as private and confidential. WHEN | Walk in your lunch hour, before work or on the weekend. Join Brett as you wander through the country, strut the city sidewalks or banter at the beach. An appropriate time and day can be found that flows seamlessly into both yours and Brett’s timetable and is beneficial to both. ABOUT THE FACILITATOR | Brett Canet-Gibson is a qualified creativity coach and meditation teacher. With a career spanning over 35 years, Canét-Gibson is a seasoned image maker, musician and communicator in photography, graphic design and visual arts. He is recognized for his ability to generate new ideas, bring perspectives and approaches together and combine them in a unique way. He is the recipient of many international, national, and local portrait and editorial awards. Canét-Gibson’s work has been exhibited in major international photographic competitions including the PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris; IPA International Photography Awards in New York; International Fine Art Photography Award, London; International LensCulture Portrait Awards; Kuala Lumpur International Photoawards; and London Photo Festival Abstract and Fine Art Photography Competition. A six-time finalist of the National Photographic Portrait Prize of the National Portrait Gallery, Canberra, his work has also been acquired for the Gallery’s permanent collection. In 2015, he was selected as a finalist in Sydney’s Head On Photo Festival; the exhibition later showed in New York and Hyderabad. He has won the Percival Photographic Prize, been chosen as a finalist in the Bowness Photography Prize and is a three-times finalist in the Olive Cotton Award. Two of his portraits toured Australia in the 2020/21 National Portrait Gallery Exhibition The Look, comprising the most arresting images from its collection.
